Very true. And not having a degree does not make you stupid. But calling yourself an Engineer without the benefit of a degree? Not cool at all Rich. You should be satisfied that you had a long career in a technical field working with high tech stuff....but don't insult people who actually earned their degrees and titles by claiming you were an Engineer (or Metallurgist).
On a gold exploration drilling project there is a drill crew...a Driller and several Drillers Helpers. There is a Geologist and there might be a Geological Technician to help track and move samples, etc. All are necessary and important . But be honest, you were an Engineer's Helper or Tech.
You also seem to think you're an investor. No, you're not....you are a gambler. And not a very good one.
