Phoenix Technology, a crypto mining hardware retailer and mining facility operator, is considering going public, Bloomberg reported on Friday. Phoenix is in early stage talks for an initial public offering in Abu Dhabi, the report added, citing sources. A spokesperson for Phoenix Technology declined to comment on the report.

That is quite an eyebrow raising development. A Phoenix IPO would probably generate increased interest in anything connected to Munaf Ali and Phoenix Technology. It is entirely possible that the Ali/Phoenix ownership or control of the TCRI shell might actually show up in the IPO filings/documents. With all of the business activity surrounding Ali/Phoenix apparently ramping up, TCRI just continues to look like a pretty attractive shell to own right now at these sub-dime price levels.
