Election day was Nov. 3rd. Not Nov. 5th. At the end of the evening on Nov. 3rd, Trump was leading by large margins in all swing states. It is only natural to question all anomalies and strange occurrences of the early morning of Nov. 4th. It is not illegal to have alternate electors ready to go incase of change or investigations into fraud. Alternative electors have been used in the past.
