#212310 RE: Zorax #212300

I don't use any social media apps. I participate on very limited social media sites on my desktop only. And, I only access iHub from a desktop. I don't have any tablets to access the internet and my only other device is a Kindle for reading pleasure. I'm a non-mobile user except for like Waze and silly app games on my phone.

I don't get the disdain for features on "mobile platforms" to also be transitioned to the desktop version. I personally have been advocating for more features for years. In my experience, because you can choose to use these features or not, it only enhances the experience. For example, I'm really excited for "reactions" to come out. If I see something that's funny, it may not necessarily rise to a "like" (because I think that should be reserved for something that's informative or insightful. But, I'd prob give most of @Paulie Cashews posts a "lol" reaction or similar.

So, to your point - is a lot of this stuff new and innovative in terms of social media? Nah, not really. BUT, from my standpoint, I love that we're modernizing and moving forward.

Lastly, there's zero discussion these days of going "full mobile" and zero discussion of getting rid of classic view. In fact it came up in a Slack discussion today - no one, at any level sees any reason to eliminate classic view at any point.
