#22528 RE: chemist72 #22527

It's definitely not good. I was half excited about the links between Mekaddesh and HFCN the other day, but now it looks like that's the opposite. I obviously don't know much about legal work, but from that filing I'd say it looks like at a minimum they'll probably get denied renewal on all those stations on the list. Worst case they might pull all the licenses. I believe Maria is running the show now and everywhere it lists her in the report is all in the past. I don't know how much the others do, and I haven't been able to find much that ties them in as of recent so maybe this will be a minimal impact? Hopefully this is her way of gaining full control?

The court case against HCCN regarding the cease and delist order is irrelevant at this point because the companies dissolution date was 6/24/2022.

How do I fix forfeited existence in Texas?

An entity forfeited under the Tax Code can reinstate at any time (so long as the entity would otherwise continue to exist) by (1) filing the required franchise tax report, (2) paying all franchise taxes, penalties, and interest, and (3) filing an application for reinstatement (Form 801 Word 178kb, PDF 87kb),
