I don't fully understand how the conversion between preferred and common works, only that there is typically a conversion ratio. If my purely amateur brain had to guess, it seems like a $60k cash infusion from someone who thinks this will go above 2 1/2 cents. That it was preferred shares off the market make it seem to me like someone knows someone they convinced to invest. Hopefully, it's for something tangible and near-term. And not just to keep the lights on for another few weeks.
