I agree with T&T on this one.... you can't trash all shareholders that have been invested for less than you and call them immature, impatient and saying that your fellow euro investors are more sophisticated and patient and knowledgeable.....
that is both sanctimonious and comes across as very condescending..... many folks have been invested for a long time, and like any other investment, they would like to take profits out incrementally (not wait 15 yrs. to start reaping the benefit of an investment)..
Management has given many signals over the years that financing might be around the corner, and that each successive FS was going to be the catalyst for the next financing.... ' The BIG F' was the main topic of discussion on this board for about 5 years leading up to the '23 SPAC, remember?? .... are we now going to punish all of those folks for being optimistic and hopeful and call them short term flipper traders?? comon'... that narrative is getting old and nobody is buying it anymore.... time to turn the page and become more realistic..... I don't think that narrative that the euro investor crowd is much more seasoned and experienced and are put off by the 'other' folks that are not committed for the duration and allow any missteps without the right to vocalize displeasure..... that viewpoint is arrogant......
When investors speak about 'Long Term' investments, i.e, TBills, Notes, Bonds, etc.... they often think in terms of 3, 5 , 10 year timelines... not 12-15 yr. timelines...... so maybe you need to go on CNBC and browbeat all of the analysts and the investors, chastising them for their ' get rich quick' (under 15 year) investment philosophy..... heck Wall St. perpetuates the quarterly, "what have you done this quarter" mentality with their Q reports and constant pressure on companies to perform for their shareholders.... investors are right in expecting mgmt. to perform on their stated goals......
and good luck getting MB participants real names and identitites, etc.... they probably don't want 50 people coming at them and threatening them..... but i do agree with you that some of the posters abuse the anonymity.... those are the outliers, the exception....
