TDA only holds up funds 1 day. But we become Schwab in September, not sure what their policy is on deposits.

I have ETrade and if you wire the money it's instantly available, I did it a couple of weeks ago. There is usually a fee from your bank ($25 Wells Fargo) but not from ETrade.

That's strange because I too have/use E*Trade, I did a money transfer this week and was able to use it immediately without any hick-ups.
