Where did they come up with the money to pay it off, Yorkville? That's hard to understand. Also hard to understand their reluctance to answer questions about it.

The stage has now been set for the removal of Mark Smith as CEO. He no longer has financial leverage over NioCorp.

We thank him for his service, and offer him a Board position as severance, but now Jim Sims can step up as interim CEO.

I have long said Mark seems like a good guy, but he just couldn't deliver results. On top of that, he lacks charisma.

Jim Sims on the other hand, performs much better on camera and represents the image of a senior executive much better than Mark Smith ever did. I cringed watching Mark deliver comments at the NASDAQ press conference. Poor body language. No enthusiasm. No C-Suite poise. Heck, he didn't even wear a lapel pin on his trip to D.C.
