Why would this ticker squeeze? As detailed and clarified here over the past several months, shorts have no need to cover here. Anyone holding BBBYQ shares in short position when the Bankruptcy proceeding closes out and the common shares are cancelled will not owe anything to anyone. That is how it works in liquidation bankruptcies like this one where the shares will ultimately be cancelled following full liquidation and closure of the BK proceeding.
