That sounds very ominous. I certainly don’t want to be buried in attorney fees at the drop of a hat. Could you be more specific? What fees would I have to pay? Can a civil servant attorney even charge fees beyond their salary? Who would keep the money? Would that be an ethics violation? Last I checked “conduct unbecoming of a civil servant” usually gets you fired and possibly jail time. Remember we are talking about Treasury not FHFA. Treasury is represented by career civil servant attorneys assigned by main justice. I could see if you were talking about FHFA-C which has supposedly stepped in the shoes of FNMA management. They hire private law firms. But not the Treasury Department. Are you saying that no citizen should ever use the federal judiciary to question the actions of the federal gov? And if a citizen does, they will be buried by the gov and the judge? Wow, so I better not go through with this silly idea. So can you advise me specifically on the fees and the justification for assessing the fees and on what legal precedent a federal judge would charge a pro se US citizen for filing a claim against the gov? I have no experience, so your comment implies that you have this experience. I’m sure my theories are probably wrong. Will you educate me to be better prepared? Thanks.
