since there is a basic lack of understanding the purpose of a discussion board? I understand not allowing threats, etc. but simply mentioning another poster (especially in this case where I was responding TO that poster's earlier post) is not off topic, it's just conversation. And you are correct, she is apparently an Admin not simply a Mod as I thought.



This is exactly what I was trying to explain earlier. All discussion boards have different rules. iHub's rule is that the stock boards need to be about the company and the stock. iHub's other rule is that you cannot post about other Users. I am an Admin here and have been for 15 years. No matter what you "believe" to be the rules, they do, in fact, say that Users cannot post about other Users.

I get that you also may disagree with the rules as they are set but that doesn't mean anyone else is wrong when they tell you what they actually are.

That may not be a TOS violation.
If I post "Joe posted the 10-Q information yesterday." That is an ok reference.

If the Mod believes simply referencing or mentioning a poster is a TOS because

When you spend more time posting about moderators and other posters than you do about the company whose board you are posting on, that usually ends up in a posting restriction.
