22,700 posts, 17 years, and you're still blaming mods for deletions. 99.99% of deleted posts violate TOS in some way.
Don't want to get deleted? Follow TOS.
Very occasionally a board has a mod abuse their position. From what I've seen, Admin is quick to look into it.

About the rule changes, maybe I'm wrong, looking at the proposed changes, I took it as being changes in the rules for posting. But if I'm wrong, that's my fault. I didn't think it was about rules in general.

My statement about my own use of the Bd. Mod. position wasn't a misunderstanding about what you were saying. I was merely qualifying my position, that I was not sticking up for bad Mod practices.

FWIW: I was not being pollyannish (not sure Ms. Porter would approve. lol), I only meant that much of what I see getting people upset, could have been avoided by adherence to the rules. As in, don't give them (a bad mod) an opening.

Anyway, I'm sure that without being on every board, not everyone's experience is the same.
