Don't throw away a plain white envelope, that has no return address, it might be "the letter". My spouse thought it might another of those letters offering a great deal on hearing aides, but it turned out to be "the letter" from CLST. I will read it when I get back fro some errands that I have to run. But my initial impression is NOT good.
