So…let’s see about the events.
The California Judge orders a STAY until there is some movement in Texas.
We have long discussions with the defendants ( In California suit) including their Chief of Intellectual Property and Chief in-house counsel.
Amazon announces a settlement with VPLM
VPLM decided that they should throw in the towel in California and settle for nothing……
The Judge ( who could have thrown out the case ( but ordered a stay instead), closes the case.
Really wonder……1. Why did the Judge bother to order the stay? 2. Why didn’t our attorneys decide to call off the case while they were in conference with the defendants for over two hours?
What did they talk about? 3. Why did Vplm Wait so long to drop the suit?
