That would defeat IHub's business model of people paying to post on political boards.
How would they ever make money?
Much of the political discussion on stock boards now is started by free users who'd like to indulge in political chat. Yes, of course those free users could just pay for a sub, but I have the feeling they mostly don't do that.
There is already one free political board and that should be sufficient. Moderators of free stock boards should direct them there.
