It does. Nationalism is a very dangerous thing and when individuals are forced to possibly kill another human being against their wishes...then one needs to consider the consequences.
Volunteering to serve on the other hand is one of the most noble things imagined. To put others ahead of your own belief is the most unselfish act. So kudos to them and all others that served willingly and forcibly.
