Not only that, this county clerk interrupted her overseas vacation to return the call. I wonder what country she was calling from and how much the call cost county taxpayers. Did she make any other calls on the taxpayers' dime from Acapulco? Come to think of it, maybe she was vacationing in a Tehran prison. Sounds like a scandal in the making.

No, I called the Clerk’s office and asked……

the lady who answered the phone if the next Commission meeting was Thursday June, 1st, but she didn’t know and told me to hold so she could find out. When she returned I planned to ask her if she knew what if any applications had been made, and by who.

She came back and said the Clerk was away from her desk and would I like her voicemail. Assuming she was at lunch I said no and said I would call back.

I called back a while later and she was still away from her desk so I left a voicemail. No one said don’t be mean to her like you are Tony and disturb her while she’s on vacation by leaving her a voicemail.

Sorry Tony is such a let down, but like Alonzo Pierce this is of his doing and what happens when you create a corporate mess.
