Just got off the phone with the Clerk…..

of Stephenson County, Jazmin Wingert.

She returned my call at 6:20 EST. She’s out of the country and checked her voicemail. Yes, I was surprised she returned my call at this hour.

I have good news for APRU. Stephenson County is trying to streamline the application process and the public review is now only 2 days.

Unfortunately they still have nothing from Apple Rush and the next Liquor Commission meeting is Thursday.

She did confirm what I have said. Tony doesn’t need a license to purchase Lena, but without it the brewery would have to shut down until he obtains one.

After the county approves the application it then goes to the state.

If Tony needs any help she said he is welcome to reach out to her. He can even ask about the conversation I had with her earlier.

And folks claim I am rooting for APRU to fail. I just did them another solid.
