I think anyone that cannot acknowledge pros and cons lacks balance. goes for both "camps".

in this case, optimists have been given a very good reason to BE optimistic...a large rise in volume and pps...SOMETHING HAPPENED to create that optimism...

having seen that, the idea that it should be downplayed as hard as possible, is "balance"??...
