Re May 15 - not to be a spoilsport, as I'd like great news too, but ... the only thing that May 15 is, is the Trademark Board's latest deadline.

Until then, despite the filing last time that showed that a deal was almost done, there is no guarantee that anything better than 'settlement done/case closed' will be filed.

It's nice to think that Nixon wants to move ahead doing great things that includes going public, again, with the momentum of a deal with Ilegal Mezcal and new restaurants, but the only thing we know for sure -- and we don't know the date (yet) -- is that he's going to open the 2 Takiza Taco & Tequila Bars "soon". (He told the Denver Post 'in the Spring', and the website exists).

[Now, Sun May 14 happens to be Mother's Day in the USA, which might also be a good day to be open for restaurant business. but if the places aren't open tomorrow to get 'warmed up' for Sunday, I'm pessimistic that he'll open on Sunday; plus he missed Cinco de Mayo, a PERFECT day to open two Mexican-themed restaurants.]
