No, not merely pumping & dumping. Blue sheets data is an electronic request for detailed information about trades sent to clearing firms, broker dealers and market makers by the SEC. Electronic blue sheets include the name of the security, its price, the date of the transaction, the size of the transaction and the parties involved.

Apparently, ASTA can ask FINRA to request Blue Sheets from Broker Dealers if they are determined to discover specifically who is responsible for pumping and dumping?
