Only imaginable event of consequence is IDE submission or clear path to it, which following today's update, seems several months to years away. I think MK was hoping to resolve questions on 2nd IDE draft at meeting, and with showing FDA preliminary rabbit containment results, getting green light to submit IDE application upon completion of ongoing animal tests without further meetings. That would have been great news, but obviously didn't happen. Instead, the path to IDE submission is murkier now. Is what it is.
