“All I know is that time is flying by. Kim is 60 years old now, so I imagine (hopej and pray) he wants a BO as much as we do.”
Let’s hope Kim submitted the paperwork in time - still waiting for THAT PR. A few weeks ago I posted that my biggest fear is that Kim retires before long. I see no reason why a man would want to continue working (if you call what he does work) to the traditional retirement age. Hell, I have waaayyy less money than that guy and I’ll call it quits before I get to his current age (61 1/2). He likely has far more than he needs to retire yesterday and each paycheck adds to the pile.
“Hopefully, once production is solidified in Vietnam, and we begin production here in the states, a BO will occur.”
I hope you’re not holding your breath for tonnage out of Vietnam. As for a stateside lab from DOD funding, that’s another matter, and even then, getting funding/a new lab and staff doesn’t do much unless it produce’s successfully- to the extent that the AF/DOD will pay for the silk, ongoing, enough for KBLB to be profitable. That’s a LOT of stuff that’d have to happen first. As usual, there’s a lot of waiting involved, including confirmation from Kim that the paperwork was submitted.
