Wait a sec now, you just said it's allowed in the US, so is it illegal or not?
Surely you know claims of naked shorting is greatly exaggerated all over IHUB.
If you don't think AMC is closely monitored after the giant short squeeze here, you aren't thinking clearly.
BTW, I've never shorted a stock. However, I do recognize that companies in trouble are logical targets.
