It's like your two paragraphs were written by two different people. In the first you said you're going to quit listening to youtubers and posters on this board , and took responsibility for your actions. Then in the second paragraph you quoted a bunch of hooha you got from youtubers and reading this board.
Go back and re-read your post, then delete the second part where you blame the government.
You had a $200k gain and YOU refused to take any part of it?? You probably were down to a $100k gain and thought..."meh, I'll wait until it gets back up there again"....you had a $50k gain and well, you get the drift.
The government went after Robin Hood. They put rules in place trying to limit the havoc both hedge funds AND what a mass of people on the internet can create.
The stock market was created for publicly traded companies to grow through profits and income and allowed the general public to take part. Somewhere along the way, due to the internet (well not wholly due to the internet), people lost track that Wall Street isn't a gambling website.
Bottom line, you're mad over what hedge funds have been able to get away with, but even madder that you don't get to do the same.
I've lived the last 20+ years off of what the stock market has provided. Don't blame the game, blame the "playa", which in this case is you.
BTW, if you really desire good stock ideas, you should read my board. Look for the posts that start off with Ð. I have zero agenda other than making money the right way.
