So glad that you moved as well. As in most cities, including red state cities, parts are overridden with crime but it's never the largest part and it doesn't prevent those cities from being the economic powerhouses that fuel the taxes redistributed to red state 'Murica.

Chicago ranks # 28 in America on crime rates, including murder, just think ,27 other American cities have worse crime rates. St. Louis is # 1, New Orleans #2, they go back and forth, along with Memphis and Baltimore.
