He wrote this book way after the fact but it was largely a technical analysis book which tried to capitalize on a range driven bear market. He says he made a ton of money. That of course was a bear market, where what you espouse, and which seems so easy in hindsight, will far outperform all but the strongest bull markets, that is if you can perfectly time it.

However, I think we are in a bull market where buying on pullbacks will make you rich.
