They have entities/do business out of the United States on top of doing business in the states. I imagine that makes things take longer to get approved.
Many assumed the merger was done on January 1st. We found out later that it wasn’t complete until February 22nd. Based on others calculations on previous ticker changes, the average time it takes finra is about 2 months. So April 22nd would be around the time where the average is. We still have about another week until we hit that. Plus with all the stuff with the banks going under, I assume finra might be under more stress than normal.
