A true share count would prove nothing. Shorts would not cover just because we know how many sythethic/counterfeit shares they have created.

Agreed, how can you ever know if shareholder votes are accurate? Simple Accounting job here, Hire a Big 4 accounting firm to do an independent count and report. This is not hard to do. That will remove all the doubt. But it may be too late for this.
