That's really easy. As long as you keep that pass phrase (24 words) you go and buy a new unit enter that phrase and everything is back including every coin you had on the lost/broken one.
If it's stolen, it's useless to the thief without your password. After 3 attempts they would need the 24 word phrase to do anything.
