I don't recall anyone saying there is only one alternative method to what GM has suggested. I say there is more than one alternative method. Furthermore, the inability for anyone to guess what the alternatives may be is not evidence that such alternatives do not exist. Additionally, the unwillingness for anyone to share possible alternatives is not evidence of alternatives not existing.
One question that is clear to me is -- why would JB and/or his Board set out to expend the money, effort, and time to buy all the shares if they can have an equal or better result for them by going another way. Furthermore, USC Tile 11 actions, as near as I can tell with the limited information available, will not provide benefits equal or greater than the costs of such actions. Besides, they take too long, and may be seen by the Board of Directors as unnecessarily too public. Another gentle way to say that, is that typical actions ;may draw flies and other unwanted visitors.
The BORK officers and Directors will do as they choose to do, even if their decision is to do nothing. Such nothingness does not stop JB from pursuing his research and goals. Our opinions, postulates, and analyses do not count in those "alternative" realms.
