Never. But, with the chart it's undeniably a "dig." An impactful one, too, if potential investors were to do their DD. Imagine them wondering who these "competitors" are only to find out that not only do they not produce Spider Silk but they have pivoted to Brewed Proteins and Mushrooms to compensate for their inadequacies. A single brokerage firm is considered one shareholder. For example, Etrade could have thousands of clients personal accounts with KBLB in them, but in the 10K it would still only be considered one shareholder.

I figured this was common sense.
