Good post, you are spot on. A number of years back I read a book that made this same argument. government spending, inflation, borrowing, all keeps the system moving along.
How can we keep spending, flooding the market with paper, more than we take in without creating HYPERINFLATION? How do we continue to pay off the interest on this debt without breaking every taxpayer in this country. Gov't handouts are not the answer. Woke policies will bring us to our knees

Going back to this book, the author thought inflation would go wild and have to burn itself out, then we would return to or go back to some form of gold / silver standard.

I don't know the answer to this , but I've heard Jaime Dimon express a concern that our current banking system is in trouble.
