It was a particularly nice touch I thought, the way the court GRANTED his trial deferral request just BEFORE they moved to revoke his bail! Who is rushing to get to trial now Keith, eh!? I for one am happy to wait, now!
Careful what you wish for, eh Keith!? Do not pass Go! Do not collect $200. I think we probably move to an early guilty plea now! On the best terms available. Because he ain't getting out before trial, and going tor trial means a longer sentence! Checkmate Thanks for playing!
I am pouring myself a nice glass of wine. Red. French. Bordeaux. I am doing this in the full and certain knowledge that come what may - for tonight at least-, that freedom is not available to Mr.Berman. That is improving the already fine taste immeasurably, as I reread over some of Pluto's more ad hominem ihub posts. <cheers!>. I think I'll maybe look out for a nice single malt, come the sentencing. (I really do not expect this to proceed to trial now, but we'll see!). Maybe a Laphroig? Or a Talisker? Auchentoshan perhaps? There's just so many to choose from! Would be nice to think that the stuff they are just putting in the casks now will probably be well matured and just ready for bottling around the time that Berman next gets the opportunity to try a dram himself. Mud in your eye Keith!
Too bad the other CEO we both know and love won't be arrested for his "crimes" against his shareholders. And you missed all of the fun while you were gone.
