Yup. Federal Law plainly, clearly, definitively states---

Such rules shall require the issuer to take reasonable steps to verify that purchasers of the securities are accredited investors, using such methods as determined by the Commission. Section 230.506 of title 17, Code of Federal Regulations, as revised pursuant to this section, shall continue to be treated as a regulation issued under section 4(2) of the Securities Act of 1933 ([now] 15 U.S.C. 77d[(a)](2)).

BUSTED!---

Hey Krish,
You can invest thru Paulson if you're an accredited investor. Minimum has been $25k....though not positive what the minimum is for this new round.

Accredited investor means you're net worth is at least $1 million of all assets, including retirement, but excluding your primary residence. OR that you made over $200k the past 2 years.

They do not validate your assets....you just have to say that you are worth over $1 million

Blueheel,
You need to be an 'accredited' investor to participate in a private placement of CYDY shares and warrants with Paulson.
This means either making over $200k for 2 straight years and expect to make that this year or have at least $1 million in total assets excluding your primary residence.

Note that Paulson does NOT require any 'proof' that you're accredited (smile imoji)

The minimum amount had been $25k in the rounds I participated in back in 2015 and 2016. Not sure what it has been lately.

I knew a broker at Paulson that told me about CYDY. I did a few other deals with Paulson -- some were stinkers like CDX now called MYDX and Antriabio (though there is still some hope). A few better ones were Dermtech and Scilex.
You need to 'represent yourself' as an accredited investor to participate in a Private Placement deal with Paulson. You have to state that your net worth excluding primary residence is over $1 million (this includes retirement accounts) or that you made over $200k for the past 2 or 3 years.
