Well, from what I recall, they also missed Phillip Baker Hall and Sorvino, Bogdanovich, Meatloaf, John Hurt

Bogdonavich died in January 2022 so they probably did him last year. John Hurt died in 2017 so I think you meant William Hurt. He died last March before the Oscars so he probably was remembered then.

I am surprised about Sorvino. As for the other two, one I never heard of (Hall) and is the other an actor? (Meatloaf)

Meatloaf, yes. John Hurt passed in 2017.
