Or you create a new account and get back to posting immediately.
It's been suggested before that when someone is suspended/banned/jailed/whatever they are told the reason WHY. Also HOW LONG the punishment will last.
I thought my account was suspended permanently because the message only says "Your account is suspended." I'm still not sure for how long, though another poster said it's for 3 days. How would they know when I don't?
This is akin to a cop giving you a ticket but not telling you what you did "wrong" so you could change your driving habits or fix the defective equipment or expired tags etc. Otherwise you'll go right on doing whatever it was you were doing.
Many of the post removals also make no sense or violate the rules themselves. I recently had a post removed by admin because the video at the bottom was "unrelated to the post."
First of all, no it wasn't - the lyrics tied into the post quite neatly, that's why I used it (it was just an old country song).
Second, there's nothing about that in the rules - the words "video" and "unrelated" don't even appear in the Handbook.
But the Handbook does say this: "If a post does not fit into any of these categories the post must not be removed." That is not the least bit ambiguous - THE POST MUST NOT BE REMOVED.
Since the admin removed it anyway (even after review), SHE violated the rules!
Lastly, I've seen many music videos in posts that did not seem to be related in any way and I wondered why they were included - I just assumed the posters just liked the songs. But non of them were removed afaik! Nor should they have been since the Handbook unequivocally states they MUST NOT BE.
Good luck getting out of the doghouse - I mean "Jailhouse." :-D
