im not saying they are done answering all the questions

That's exactly what you said but it's good that you are correcting that outrageous statement.

what quality"

good enough to launch...

That is an assumption.

"so what we really know is we don't know much at all about production at this point other than what Kim has told us."

I know more than that...so can everyone else...but if no one WANTS to see what is there, then thats on them...

Sure you do. Just saying it does not make it so.
Everyone is hoping it but it doesnt make it so.
Assumptions abound.

i dont believe quality was ever in question...robustness and size were...

More assumptions. You dont believe but you dont know. That's the point. You hope but you dont know.

" And we might not know if things are going good or bad until the end of the year."

talk about exaggeration...

That I will give you. If its successful we will know sooner than the end of the year. If it's another failure we won't hear about it until late in the year. Months and months after the failure occurs, if it occurs.

13 years after the breakthru investors still do not know if this plan of Kim's is viable. Hope is still all we have.

“yes...kblb sent fiber to medical companies years ago...they are still doing it...nothing exaggerated about that...its a fact... “

Yes….Thems the FACTS!

Here is another FACT…. The demand for our Spider Silk in medical has become SIGNIFICANT!

"Over the last month, we have seen a significant increase in the demand from the medical field for our spider silk fibers and fabrics," said COO, Jon Rice.“

Another FACT..We can now meet the needs for all requests…

“With the growth of its production operations in Vietnam over the last two quarters, the Company is now positioned to allot a PORTION of its spider silk production to address the medical community's needs.”

“PORTION“. So who’s getting the rest?
Obviously other developers. Like our partners kinda make sense lol.

-SSM Industries
-Warwick Mills
-Polartec

All these announced development partners develop product for the Military, policing, protections. And Warwick develops for NASA…. Just saying, ha

There are different degrees of sericin removal. For external applications (like a bandage), clearing most of the sericin off will be fine. For short-term internal use (sutures, surgical sponges), clearing nearly all sericin off will be fine. For long-term implants (heart valves), even a little bit of sericin might cause problems.

Different kinds of testing or procedures might be needed for these different applications. I don’t know.

The easiest applications for DS or MS are external. I knew a child born with Epidermolysis bullosa. He had to have bandages on his skin and it hurt terribly to have to peel them off every day and replace them. A spider silk bandage could have reduced the frequency of changes to perhaps every 4 or 5 days. That would have been a blessing for this poor kid. I’m guessing that bandage makers are the first to ask for DS or MS.

Only about a year ago was KBLB able to ship fibers to a few more medical companies. I’m guessing this might have included a few who specialize in internal applications. Each company will do their own testing on the fibers. The test for calcification is important in some applications, but not others, for example.

When research papers appear, they will include methods of clearing sericin and testing for clearance. How many research articles have mentioned KBLB? Pretty sure none of them. That means research is just getting started. But if a company is going to spend five million bucks to develop a new heart valve, they probably want to lock KBLB in as a sole supplier. That will be done thru a joint venture. No medical company wants to be in a situation where KBLB is shipping material to seven or eight of their competitors, all of whom are working to develop heart valves. That is the reason for a joint venture.
