The dividend will increase to .40 per share after the 1:4 reverse split. (.10 x 4 = .40)
But don't be surprised if NYMT lowers the dividend after a few quarters. Especially if our economy doesn't get back on track. MFA did that exact thing recently.
If they walk the dividend down to where it was pre-split, it's a win for the company but a huge loss for the shareholders. A wash-rinse-repeat sort of thing.
