Why the Company Might Be Good to Us on the Dividend Price: Some Speculation

Consider that the current float is only 14 million, out of a total share amount of 157 million. That means that 90% of the shares are either restricted from trading and/or held by company insiders.

So, if Herb ever decided that the dividend will be $100 or so (and the common shares therefore $10) they would be rewarding themselves as owners of the 143 million other, restricted shares as well as we the shareholders of the 14 million shares in the DAILY FLOAT.

It would seem, then,, that a generous dividend price is not just a beneficial gesture to shareholders but something representing genuine benefit and self-interest to those running the company as well.
