If you look at the tape all those small buys that go through at the exact same time are market makers breaking down orders into much smaller buys so that they don’t raise the price.
I’ve seen that on quite a few stocks. But these prints are for 9 buys of 100 at the same time from the screenshot I could catch before the tape shot past on my phone.
That’s just an example. The stock is being accumulated. As you can see any buying pressure moves the price so market makers are doing their best to hold it down here.
