LMFAO! Everything stated in that 2022 article (hardly ancient news as you put it) is still true today. Hycroft is not currently an active mine, and that is due to many of the reasons stated in the article. Face it. AA and AMC got taken by HYMC as detailed in the recent article I Linked.
