Sheeeeeesh! None of which is present or applies here with AMC/APE. AMC/APE combined is trading right around where AMC did before it was manipulated up to ridiculous share prices in early 2021 during the manipulated short squeeze. And, the debt was, for the most part, taken on before any of that.

Excessive shorting lowers a stock's price. Lower devaluation results in less favorable terms on debt. Less favorable terms increases costs on debt. Increased costs on debt leads to toxic debt which directly affects the company's finances and financial performance.
