I have an X5 that I drive on a daily basis and it is an awesome vehicle. Very solid. If you're doing any heavy towing though it gets pulled around some. Got my wife a Yukon that can handle the 5200lb boat and trailer without an issue..
As for the newborn, my daughter had her hand covering the privates every time we tried to see. We never found out!
