super: Howe's plan wasn't a traditional buyback. It was a share exchange. The prices were much higher then. With today's prices, I'd buy before I ever did a share exchange. We all know what would happen to the PPS if a 1 or 2 billion share retirement was announced. So would anyone who was financing the buy.
