It's moot the daily numbers and the bi monthly numbers are not accurate...multiple credible people have said as much....Wes Christian, Buyins.net, Shareintel. If they aren't accurate and undercounted the daily number is simply a guidepost. Go back(it was linked here before) to the 44 page SEC opposition review of the NSCC Alpike backtesting charges..look at the charge logs for September do the math on the daily short reported those days and look at SP as well...look then at FTD's...it doesn't add up

Better to read the Book Naked, short and Greedy...it's an excellent book by a very well educated and respected DTC and market insider and explains the same. Cannot trust agencies who continually fumble the ball...2008 crash? Madoff? FTX?
