I am pretty sure the people buying at .01 a few years ago are happy.

I personally don't have the patience for it but envy those that do.

Who are you posting this to? Of all places to offer an "otc-stock" lesson? And no mention of any nefarious 'manipulation's? Could it be VASO has no 'manipulation' whatsoever...perish the thought??

wade, I took you off ignore...I have a hunch that it will only be brief...

I don't think for example that OTC stocks have to do audited yearly 10Ks.

You have to differentiate between normal pink sheet stocks which do not have the requirement of audited SEC filings (alternate filers) and stuff like VASO which is a QB which of course has the requirement to put out an audited 10k. There is plenty of OTC companies out there with audited financials.

That said, I trade this stuff for a living for a very long time now and I can see what you are saying. You gotta need to swing these, you gotta need to diversify big time and you have to play with smaller sizes. I still have a few VASO right now but sold most into the last run, that said on VASO for example it's not like you buy and then hold this stuff for 3 years, you gotta always trade a portion of these holdings up and down and all around. This is not investing, it's trading. And btw, I hate nothing more than to trade these small and micro caps on the Nasdaq with their endless algos and stuff. But to each his own and style right.

I think "most" people would be happy to make a few thousand dollars in their stocks.

"According to survey data from The Ascent, the mean (average) savings balance among Americans is $35,366. The median (middle value: more representative than an average), however, is $4,500."
https://upgradedpoints.com/finance/average-us-savings-account-balance/

Maybe that amount is just cash.
Here is a survey of retirement savings.

"""
Vanguard: "How America Saves 2022" Data
Age range

Median Retirement Savings
Under age 25
about $1,800

Ages 25-34 about $14,100

Ages 35-44 $36,100+

Ages 45-54 $61,500+

Ages 55-64 $89,700+

Ages 65+ $87,700+
"""

While I don't think most people have the attitude or knowledge for investing in microcaps.
The "average" person will not have a difficult time with liquidity issues.
