what The Baer said. I know I said Timmy yesterday, but it was The Baer. Listen again below. He starts explaining it around to 5:30 minute mark.

Folks here have been saying the mag and side scan sonar was obsolete now that SFRX has a new game changing device.

But the game hasn’t changed, and The Baer admitted it. The mag locates the iron, divers do verification, then you bring in Timmy’s Toy.

What that means is you still need to know how to locate valuable wrecks, which is something SFRX has never proven they know how to do.

Research and good navigational data can’t be replaced unless you want to rely on pure luck.

Don’t get me wrong, luck plays a part sometimes, but it’s not a good business model.
