The flaw with your speculation is a) that no shareholder whose shares Sharp wants to cancel is aware of anything that is happening with their shares which is highly unlikely and b) that the judge will most likely cancel the shares without you knowing the specifics of the case and whether the shareholders acquired the shares legally.



Regarding (a), I'm not claiming to know either way. Instead, I'm insisting that we don't know, and won't know until something is filed with the court, so we shouldn't claim it will be contested or uncontested.

Regarding (b), if the lawsuit is uncontested, I believe the judge doesn't even get into specifics. They will be canceled by a default judgment. If the share cancellation is contested, however, I'm of the belief that the judge won't cancel the shares absent clear and conclusive proof of fraud.
